Loved them!! Got the pink ones first then the neon ones. The sunglasses were a great gateway to their other products & a personal confirmation of quality. I’ve been following the brand for a year or so now, but never pulled the trigger on the kimonos / jackets due to the higher price… soon as I got these shades, I pulled the trigger on a reversible jacket too b/c I could tell that if they put this much attention on the shades, their other products would have the same attention to detail. IMO, the shades are very well-priced for the quality too. Most shades I buy at this price aren’t much lower quality. Anyways, rant over haha, in short, I recommend them.

I've shopped at Kimono Dave's before, but recently got my first amazing, sweet jacket a month or so ago! The atmosphere was so friendly and fun, from the other customers to Dave himself. Everyone was having the best time trying things on, learning about the materials, and generally sharing excitement over such a creative space. So glad you guys are here in SF! You're truly keeping SF cool!

Absolutely stunning wearable centerpieces. I now own 5 different kimonos. I personally favor the Earthy Decadent styles but I do own one boho festy chic kimono. I collect kimono Dave’s pieces because I believe they will be vintage collectors in the future. Everything is unique, one of a kind and the designers style is instantly recognizable.

About the brand
Dope shit till the day I die.
I grew up in Reno and have been going to Burning Man since 2011. In 2019, working as a headhunter in New York, I bought a sewing machine to make something special for Envision Festival in Costa Rica. From the moment I put on that first kimono, I was hooked.
Two years of sewing every piece myself and vending Brooklyn warehouse parties later, I brought my coats to San Francisco. They sold out in a day. In 2022 we opened our store in the Haight-Ashbury.
