Shipping
In-stock items ship within 3-5 business days of your order being placed.
Made-to-order items are produced individually, so shipping times vary depending on current production time. If your order includes a made-to-order item, please reach out to info@kimonodave.com about your specific order and we'll confirm availability and an estimated ship date. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking.
Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, within 3 days of receiving the package. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Buyer pays for return shipping.
To start a return, contact us at info@kimonodave.com. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
International orders: we do not accept returns on international orders. All international packages are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Coat Care & Cleaning Guide
Proper care keeps your coat looking its best for years to come. Please follow the guidelines below based on your coat's style and fabric — using the wrong cleaning method can permanently damage the material.
Classic Coats
Our Classic coats are dry-clean only. Always take these to a professional dry cleaner. Do not machine wash or hand wash a Classic coat.
Specialty Fabrics
Certain fabrics should only be hand-washed or spot-cleaned. Check the care label on your specific piece, and when in doubt, spot-clean small areas with a damp cloth rather than fully washing the garment.
Yeti Coats
Yeti coats are ideally dry-cleaned. If dry cleaning isn't available, they can also be washed on a cold, gentle cycle and then hung to dry.
Faux Fur: Never Use Heat
Never put faux fur in the dryer or use any heat source to dry it. Heat will melt and permanently ruin faux fur — it cannot be repaired once damaged this way. Always air dry faux fur by hanging it, away from direct heat.
General Rule: Wash Less, Not More
Across every style, the less you wash your coat, the better. Only clean it when it's truly necessary, and spot-treat small stains as they happen rather than doing a full wash. Over time, machine washing — even on a cold, gentle cycle — wears down the fabric faster than dry cleaning does. When a deeper clean is unavoidable, dry cleaning is always the gentler option for your coat's long-term condition.
