I want to love the hell out of this coat, but I've got a bit of a bad taste in my mouth from the customer service at Kimono Dave. First off, I had messaged with questions about sizing and I felt the information they gave was not helpful. I would have liked to have model measurements shown so that I could gauge how the coat would fit my body. I should have bought a larger size, and though they said I could exchange it, I wouldn't have had enough time to get it before the Burn. I wish I had known they were going to set up a storefront nearby the Burn.
Secondly, my coat arrived crammed into a plastic mailer envelope that was ripped up. Luckily the coat itself wasn't damaged. For such an expensive purchase, I would have expected a much nicer presentation.
The coat itself is nicely made and very versatile, but I have to say that the faux leather material that lines the interior edges is not very comfortable.

Sizing: we should have given you clearer answers. Since your order we've added more detailed size charts to the coat pages, and we're working on adding model measurements so it's easier to pick the right fit the first time.
Packaging: a coat at this price should never arrive in a torn mailer. We're glad the coat itself made it through okay, and we're changing how we pack our coats.
